Join Me

I LOVE THE GOSPEL! I love it so much. I can't even describe the feeling. I really don't know what I would be without it. I need it as much as I need sunshine. I need it as much as I need air. It's everything to me. It's my life support. It's what I am. It's what I do. It's my hobby. It's my life.

I love to go to church. I love to take the sacrament, and to renew my covenants that I made with my Heavenly Father at baptism every Sunday. I love to listen to all the wonderful, inspiring talks and testimonies that the members share. I love to learn more about it in Sunday School. I love to go to Young Womens and recite our theme. I love the leaders and teachers and friends I have there. I love the Spirit I feel. Church is such a wonderful place.

The youth activities the church provides are awesome. Weekly mutual activities, monthly dances, Girls' Camp and Youth Conference in the summer, firesides and service projects every so often. They help me not to feel alone in the world; I get to have so many friends that have the same standards that I do.

I also love all the things I can do personally. Praying to my Heavenly Father, knowing that He is listening, and knowing that He always answers my prayers. And reading my scriptures. There is so much you can learn from them! Sometimes, I'm just blown away.

Family home evening, family scripture study, weekly Temple trips with my dad and brother, and fun family games and activities. Family, family, family. We have so many wonderful times together, learning and growing all of the time.

Man, I just love everything about the gospel! I could go on and on and on about it forever.

Every song that I will write from now on will praise God. Every word I say will sing, "Hallelujah!"

I want everyone in the whole world to find the same joy I have found. Everyone. I will work as hard as I can to share the true gospel of Jesus Christ with all that I know, all that I meet.

I will be the only mormon in my whole school this year. Everyone will be watching me. Teachers, students, the cafeteria ladies. I will be "the Mormon girl" that everyone is talking about. I'll set the expectation. I have to be a shining example. And I will be. Every chance I get, I will share the gospel. I don't care what the nay-sayers think. They're the ones missing out on life. The gospel is amazing. I love it.
