JOHANNA IS A FOREIGN EXCHANGE STUDENT FROM GERMANY who attends my school and is a very good friend of mine. She is gorgeous, and so very kind. She came over yesterday to help me make Christmas Nativity costumes, and my mom made some homemade bread (something she misses from her mother a home) for her Christmas present. We all love her so much! You can probably tell from these pictures what a sweetie she is....she really goes out of her way to make my little sisters feel special. She also brought us Christmas presents: Authentic peach candy from Germany, a German hot plate with a painting of her hometown, and a little calendar with wonderful pictures from her dear Mosel (her village). Johanna is also VERY smart! She loves to share her knowledge of all things with everyone, as well as gladly accepts correction (i.e. with her English) from them in return. Johanna will only be here in America for a few more weeks, sadly, as she returns to her home at the end of this semester. :( I am going to miss her terribly! I hope that I will be able to visit her in Mosel soon! We could tour her village together, visit her second home in Sweden, eat breakfast in France, and best of all, I'd get to know the rest of her family that she always speaks so highly of. Ich liebe dich, Johanna!!!!! Thank you for being such a great friend! Love, Laura Anne :)
