CHRISTMAS! Isn't it wonderful?
The cool, crisp weather and the fall-fashion sweaters, scarves, hats, and gloves are only the beginning! One of my favorite parts of Christmas is the beautiful music. Every day of this month, I've got one of the merry tunes singing inside of my head, as singing Christmas carols as a family is one of our favorite things to do. I love the colors of Christmas, too--the red, green, blue, and white and that covers our whole country at this time of the year. I love every one's bright smiles as they enjoy shopping for gifts and presents to give to their family and friends. I love the smells of peppermint, chocolate, cinnamon, and evergreens that roam through every house and shopping center around. I love all of the time that I get to spend with my beautiful family, watching movies and drinking hot cocoa as we bundle up in blankets and snuggle up close to each other on our big, red couch. I love laughing with my friends, relaxing from school work, performing Christmas songs on my piano/French horn, and baking all of the Christmas goodies. I love planning gifts to give to everyone, and, of course, getting a few gifts of my own. :)
But most of all, I love this time of year because it guides our hearts to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ--He who was born to bring the fullness of the gospel to this earth. As we remember His humble birth, may we also remember His unconditional love for us, and commit to keeping His commandments always.
I love you guys! I hope that you all have a truly incredible Christmas holiday! I am greatly anticipating all of the Christmas concerts/recitals that I will be playing in, as well as the many fun PARTIES that my church and family will be hosting within these next few weeks. A MERRY CHRISTMAS indeed!!!!!!!
