THE OTHER DAY I WAS LISTENING TO NICHOLE NORDEMAN'S FOOL FOR YOU, and it really touched me:
"I would be a fool for you, All because you asked me to. A simpleton who's seeming naive, I do believe, You came and made Yourself a fool for me."
It made me realize: I am a fool. A fool who doesn't say bad words, doesn't gossip, is always wearing those weird modest clothes. Who's always talking about "that Mormon church." Who wants to get married and have lots of kids. Who chooses family over friends.
That's who I've always been. Who I am. Who I will always be. A FOOL.

"Well", I decided, "If that's what a fool is, then I am proud to be one. Christ was mocked and laughed at, too, and all He was doing was what He knew to be right."
And so, I shall live, and die... a fool.
